Arm Benefits From Growing AI Inference Demand

Arm gained alongside a broader semiconductor rally on September 23 linked to AI hardware demand, with investors focusing on AI-driven CPU demand after Meta Platforms reported rapid uptake of its Muse AI agent for CPU-based inference workloads. Arm’s CPU designs have been highlighted as a key foundation for handling Muse-related AI inference volumes, reinforcing the company’s relevance in broader AI infrastructure discussions.

Arm’s Rally Extends on AI Momentum and Bullish Analyst Calls

The move builds on a stretch of strong gains for Arm, including a more than 16% surge on September 21 tied to Meta’s Muse adoption boosting demand for AI server processors, alongside Piper Sandler’s initiation of coverage with an Overweight rating and a $320 price target, citing AI server design wins and a Meta custom CPU project. Arm CEO Rene Haas has also said demand for the company’s new AGI CPU is “off the charts” and could exceed $2 billion in revenue.
